Event: Flare
This mission nearly failed before it took off.
Dennis claimed there was work to be done. New Guy was too blue over his Trojans. Certainly didn't stop Ryan from coaxing Becker into action. With lots of paraphrasing...Dennis: "Come on, JB, Space Club." JB: "Nah, can't tonight." Ryan: "Come on, you're just staring into space anyway!" Ryan granted lifetime membership to Space Club.
Bunch of newsies went along tonight, a few of them newbies.
Didn't look good. Space Club Chairman Pimentel couldn't get his bearings. Finally, semi-newguy Gieson spotted the solar flare. Not bad for a -2. Then out of the blue, JB spots what Ryan and Dennis believe was the space station soaring by in the opposite direction.
A rare double!
We were not gooed.
